NORTHERN BLUES vs SANDRINGHAM

Where: Preston City Oval

When: Saturday, 25 June

Time: 2:10pm (Channel 7 telecast)

Last week:

Sandringham had the last of their three byes last weekend and will be fresh and raring to go against the Blues. Leading into the bye, the Zebras produced three straight wins against Werribee (37-points), Geelong (2-points) and Essendon (28-points).

The Zebras sit third on the VFL ladder at a 6-3, with the opportunity to stretch it out to four wins in a row, making it the club’s best consecutive run this season.

Conversely, the Northern Blues host the Zebras in good form, having won their past two games since the Round 8 bye. A 40-point win over Frankston and a 36-point away win over the Box Hill Hawks puts Josh Fraser’s men back in finals contention, where percentage is the only gap from their 11th placing (4-5 win/loss ratio at 74.6%).
